Resumo: Com o advento do mundo digital, o sistema literário (EVEN-ZOHAR [1990] 2013; LEFEVERE, [1992] 2007) se modificou e novas configurações de resenhas de textos, sobretudo literários, passaram a coexistir com as já conhecidas de jornais e revistas. Sites, blogs e canais do YouTube começaram a se tornar mais relevantes nesse meio e a atrair milhares de visualizações em suas resenhas, como é o caso de diversos canais brasileiros dedicados à literatura (BookTube), nos quais notamos uma grande quantidade de resenhas de obras traduzidas. Nesse contexto, este trabalho propõe uma discussão acerca de vídeos que apresentam resenhas de livros traduzidos, abordando especialmente dois pontos: o primeiro diz respeito à menção ou não de quem traduziu e o segundo aborda como essa menção é feita e os possíveis efeitos que podem ter para a área. Para isso, selecionamos vídeos de alguns dos canais de BookTubers mais influentes (em número de visualizações e de seguidores), com o intuito de identificar se e de que maneira a tradução e seus profissionais aparecem. De modo a fomentar teoricamente essas discussões, nos baseamos nos textos de Lawrence Venuti (1995), Carol Maier (1990, 2001), Reiner Schulte (1986; 1995), Antoine Berman (1995) e José Yuste Frías (2015). A partir do recorte feito, traçamos relações entre as falas das BookTubers sobre a tradução ou sobre os tradutores e os estudos acadêmicos da área. Com base nos dados recolhidos, atestamos que houve um aumento gradativo de menções aos tradutores nas vídeo-resenhas ao longo dos anos. Anteriormente, a tradução, quando esporadicamente mencionada, era atribuída à editora da publicação ou o texto era creditado singularmente ao autor. Entretanto, mesmo com esse aumento, o número de BookTubers que não menciona que o texto é traduzido e o nome do profissional da tradução responsável pelos livros resenhados ainda é alarmante. Abstract: With the advent of the digital world, the literary system (Even-Zohar [1990] 2013; Lefevere, [1992] 2007) shifted and new configurations of reviews for texts, especially literary ones, began to coexist with the already established newspapers and periodic magazines. Websites, blogs and YouTube channels became more relevant in this matter and started to attract millions of views in their reviews, as with the several Brazilian channels dedicated to literature (BookTube), in which we notice a great number of reviews for translated books. In this context, this thesis anticipates a discussion about these types of video reviews, mainly focusing on two aspects: whether the translator responsible for the book being reviewed is mentioned or not, and, as consequence, the way this mentions occurs and the possible effects that it can have on our area of study. In order to do so, we selected videos from some of the most influential BookTube channels (in regard to the number of views and subscribers), with the intent of identifying if translation and its professionals are mentioned, and how that happens. Basing our discussions theoretically, we rely on the studies of Lawrence Venuti (1995), Carol Maier (1990, 2001), Reiner Schulte (1986, 1995), Antoine Berman (1995) and Yuste Frías (2015). From our selection, we traced parallels between what the BookTubers said about translation or translators and the academic studies in the field. Based on the data collected, we noticed an increase in the mentions to translators in the video-reviews along the years. Previously, the translation was mentioned rarely, and when it happened it was credited to the publishing house or the text as a whole was attributed solely to the author. However, even with this growth in the rightful recognition, the number of BookTubers that don’t mention that the text they are reviewing was in fact translated or even cite the name of the translator responsible for the job, is still alarming.
