Resumo: Este trabalho visa investigar e problematizar elementos da ação do connoisseur em paralelo com as implicações do advento da fotografia di riproduzione. Para tanto, discorreremos sobre Federico Zeri, figura de fundamental relevância na história da arte italiana, e a constituição de sua reconhecida fototeca, um dos mais destacados esforços de preservação cultural e constituição de um instrumental comparativo no âmbito pictórico europeu. Sob estas questões, visa-se inquirir como a emergência de uma nova semântica da fotografia di riproduzione, derivada da nascente linguagem fotográfica inaugurada no séc. XIX, responde ao contato com as técnicas tradicionais vinculadas à figura do connoisseur. Assim, implica-se que a riproduzioni in fotografia, tecida no debate entre sua posição exclusivamente documental ou como elemento autônomo e de apreciação estética própria, conduz ao surgimento de aspectos não evidenciados no debate da teoria fotográfica. Mediante a avaliação do sentido e uso da fotografia di riproduzionena trajetória de Zeri, pretende-se notabilizar como este aparente instrumento conduz a alterações em seu processo de atribuição e para seu julgamento estético, além de deslocamentos das perspectivas tradicionais do olhar. Ao fim, a emergência de tais questões provocariam mudanças de causalidades e julgamentos valorativos que transbordariam a esfera restrita do connoisseur, podendo gerarimplicações mais ampliadas no campo artístico. Abstract: This work aims to investigate and problematize elements of the connoisseur's action in parallel with the implications of the advent of the fotografia di riproduzione. For this purpose, we will approach Federico Zeri, a fundamentally important figure in the history of Italian art, and the constitution of his renowned photo library, one of the most outstanding efforts for cultural preservation and constitution of a comparative instrument in the European pictorial scope. Under these questions, we aim to inquire how the emergence of a new semantics of the fotografia di riproduzione, derived from the nascent photographic language inaugurated in the 19th century, responds to the contact with traditional techniques linked to the figure of the connoisseur. Thus, it is implied that the riproduzioni in fotografia, inserted into the debate between its exclusively documental position or as an autonomous element and with a proper aesthetic appreciation, leads to the appearance of aspects not evidenced in the debate of photographic theory. By assessing the meaning and use of the fotografia di riproduzione in Zeri's trajectory, it is intended to highlight how this apparent instrument leads to changes in its attribution process and to its aesthetic judgment, in addition to shifts in the traditional perspectives of the gaze. In the end, the emergence of such issues could cause changes in causalities and evaluative judgments that could overflow the restricted sphere of the connoisseur, generating wider implications in the artistic field.
