Resumo: A reabilitação do Acidente Vascular Cerebral é um processo que visa a recuperação precoce dos déficits e a preparação para uma reintegração na vida social, em busca do melhor resultado funcional possível, do aumento do grau de autonomia e da qualidade de vida. Os sentidos e significados atribuídos pelos pacientes ao processo vivenciado, desde o acidente até a retomada da vida pós alta hospitalar, merecem atenção, uma vez que podem se relacionar com as próprias atitudes, que, neste caso, são determinantes para os desfechos funcionais. O objetivo desse estudo foi compreender as percepções relacionadas ao itinerário terapêutico pós Acidente Vascular Cerebral, experienciado no Sistema Único de Saúde. A dissertação é composta por dois artigos: o primeiro trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, desenvolvido durante fase inicial desse empreendimento de pesquisa, voltado para a apropriação teórica da pesquisadora e que serviu como subsídio para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa de campo, relatada no segundo artigo. Neste, foi utilizado o método Clínico-Qualitativo, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas em profundidade. O artigo de revisão integrativa destacou a importância da integralidade do cuidado, o papel da família no processo de recuperação, e as barreiras de centralização dos serviços, dificuldade com transporte e a indisponibilidade dos familiares e cuidadores. A análise qualitativa de conteúdo, no segundo artigo, permitiu a construção de quatro categorias sobre o processo vivenciado pelos pacientes: a) Você está tendo um AVC! - A identificação do problema; b) Angústias e expectativas na espera de atendimento; c) O desamparo e a orientação para reabilitação após alta hospitalar; d) A espiritualidade na reabilitação após AVC. A revisão integrativa permitiu a síntese do conhecimento produzido dentro do escopo pretendido, acerca do itinerário da reabilitação, apresentando obstáculos e evidenciando a escassez de estudos sobre o assunto no Brasil. Ao centrar a atenção na experiência do AVC e tentar perceber de que forma ele foi vivenciado subjetivamente, foi possível captar a expressão do vivido através dos relatos obtidos, emergindo eixos centrais de discussão que ampliaram a compreensão acerca da experiência subjetiva da doença Ver menos

Abstract: The rehabilitation of the Stroke is a process that aims at the early recovery of deficits and the preparation for a reintegration into social life, in search of the best possible functional result, the increase in the degree of autonomy and quality of life. The senses and meanings attributed by patients to the experienced process, from the accident to the resumption of life after hospital discharge, deserve attention, since they can be related to their own attitudes, which, in this case, are decisive for the functional outcomes. The aim of this study was to understand the perceptions related to the therapeutic itinerary after stroke, experienced in the Unified Health System. The dissertation consists of two articles: the first is an integrative literature review, developed during the initial phase of this enterprise research, aimed at the theoretical appropriation of the researcher and which served as a subsidy for the development of field research, reported in the second article. In this, the Clinical-Qualitative method was used, through in-depth semi-structured interviews. The integrative review article highlighted the importance of comprehensive care, the role of the family in the recovery process, and the barriers to centralization of services, difficulties with transportation and the unavailability of family members and caregivers. Qualitative content analysis, in the second article, allowed the construction of four categories on the process experienced by patients: a) You are having a stroke! - The identification of the problem; b) Anguish and expectations in waiting for assistance; c) Helplessness and guidance for rehabilitation after hospital discharge; d) Spirituality in rehabilitation after stroke. The integrative review allowed the synthesis of the knowledge produced within the intended scope, about the rehabilitation itinerary, presenting obstacles and evidencing the scarcity of studies on the subject in Brazil. By focusing attention on the stroke experience and trying to understand how it was experienced subjectively, it was possible to capture the expression of what was lived through the reports obtained, emerging central axes of discussion that broadened the understanding about the subjective experience of the disease Ver menos
