Ver mais Resumo: Esta pesquisa se insere no âmbito do Observatório das Migrações em São Paulo (NEPO/IFCH/UNICAMP) e possuí como objetivo central a compreensão das migrações internas de trabalhadores rurais piauienses, alocados na colheita da laranja no interior paulista, e suas espacialidades na cidade do agronegócio citrícola (ELIAS, 2011) de Matão/SP em décadas recentes. As idas e vindas destes migrantes contribuem para dinamização e retroalimentação de espaços urbanos e rurais pertencentes ao arranjo urbano-rural regional da citricultura (DEMÉTRIO, 2017). Sob este contexto emergem as periferias migrantes, espaços privilegiados da migração dos colhedores de laranja e conectadas diariamente pelos espaços urbanos "do cá" de pequenas e médias cidades do arranjo da laranja em São Paulo; e, pelos rurais "do lá", das comunidades rurais do Piauí. As estratégias de circulação e manutenção desta mão de obra também se articulam às políticas sociais, como o Programa Bolsa-Família, e aos direitos trabalhistas, via Seguro Desemprego. Neste sentido, foram analisados os bancos de dados do Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais (MDS) e da Relação Anual de Informações Sociais (RAIS,MTE) com o propósito de caracterização desse grupo populacional. A tese buscou, em um primeiro momento, demonstrar o protagonismo da mão de obra migrante, interna e internacional, na constituição do mercado de trabalho rural-agrícola paulista, posteriormente foram sistematizadas informações acerca da atual configuração deste mercado, com enfoque aos colhedores de laranja, e a apresentação das espacialidades do arranjo da laranja. Ver mais Abstract: This research is part of the Observatory of Migration in São Paulo (NEPO / IFCH / UNICAMP) and has as its central objective the understanding of the internal migrations of rural workers in Piaui, allocated to the orange harvest in the interior of São Paulo, and their spatialities in the city of agribusiness (ELIAS, 2011) of Matão / SP in recent decades. The comings and goings of these migrants contribute to the dynamization and feedback of urban and rural spaces belonging to the regional urban-rural arrangement of citriculture (DEMÉTRIO, 2017). In this context emerge the migrant peripheries, privileged spaces of the migration of the orange lanyards and connected daily by the urban spaces of the small and medium cities of the orange arrangement in São Paulo; and by the rural "do lá" of the rural communities of Piauí. The strategies of movement and maintenance of this workforce are also articulated to social policies, such as the Bolsa Família Program, and to labor rights through Unemployment Insurance. In this sense, the databases of the Single Register for Social Programs (MDS) and the Annual Social Information Relation (RAIS, MTE) were analyzed for the purpose of characterizing this population group. The thesis sought, initially, to demonstrate the role of migrant labor, internally and internationally, in the constitution of the rural-agricultural labor market of São Paulo, and later systematized information about the current configuration of this market, focusing on orange pickers , and the presentation of the spatialities of the orange arrangement.
