This article examines employee agency in psychological contracts by exploring how young scientists proactively shape their careers in response to unmet expectations induced by academic entrepreneurialism. It uses the lens of social exchange to examine their relationships with the professors engaged in two types of activities: collaborative research characterized by diffuse/reciprocal exchange, and commercial ventures, by restricted/negotiated exchange. These two categories show how career agency varies in orientation, form and behavioural outcome depending on the relational context within which their psychological contracts evolve. Those involved in collaborative research experienced a relational psychological contract and responded to unfulfilled career promises by ‘extended investment’ in their current jobs. They use ‘proxy agency’ by enlisting the support of their professors. However, some become ‘trapped’ in perennial temporary employment and are ‘content to be sad’. By contrast, those involved in research commercialization experienced a transactional contract and assert ‘personal agency’ by crafting their own entrepreneurial careers. They are ‘runaways’ who seek autonomy. The evidence is based on interviews with 24 doctoral/postdoctoral researchers and 16 professors from three leading UK universities. The article extends psychological contract theory by incorporating career agency and sheds new light on changing academic careers

Resumo: O enfoque dessa reflexão se desvela no questionar sobre a experiência, tendo como horizonte as manifestações totalitárias e de sociedade de massa na crise do Coronavírus. A trajetória dessa indagação apresenta primeiramente considerações sobre o processo de massificação da sociedade, que mostra no século XX, em um contexto de guerras e progresso científico, suas expressões mais radicais em fusão com o totalitarismo. As transformações sociais que marcam o desenvolvimento dos estados modernos se revelam importantes para nosso caminho, uma vez que, a relação entre totalitarismo e sociedades de massa possui um caráter histórico marcante. Posteriormente a apresentação dos conceitos de nossa pergunta, tomaremos o comportamento de se reunir em grupo como direcionamento para o questionar sobre nosso momento atual, a situação da pandemia do Coronavírus

Abstract: We aimed to explore how a group of classical ballet dancers perceived their eating attitudes and their bodies, with special attention to the potential presence of eating disorders (EDs) symptoms and body image (dis)satisfaction. Methods: A cross-sectional, mixed-method study was conducted on fourteen trained classical ballet dancers (18-30 years old). Their experiences, perceptions, and feelings regarding eating attitudes and body image concerning classical ballet were acquired through qualitative focus groups. The presence of EDs symptoms and perception and (dis)satisfaction with body image was analyzed quantitatively through self-report questionnaires. Results: Participants reported concerning eating attitudes during the focus groups, such as the regular practice of several restrictive popular diets, constant restriction of foods considered "heavy" or "fatty," meal skipping and ignoring signs of hunger, presence of overeating episodes due to stress and anxiety, feeling guilty about breaking their usual diet, classifying foods as "good" and "bad" or "lean" and "fat," and excluding some of those foods from their usual diets. These reports were partially reflected in the questionnaires, with 50% of the ballerinas showing bulimic symptoms indicative of an unusual eating pattern (only two of them with a significant risk index), 7.1% showing symptoms of moderate binge eating, and 14.3% symptoms of EDs in general. Additionally, when considering their bodies in the context of everyday life, participants were satisfied; however, in the "classical ballet" context, they reported feeling dissatisfied with their shape. These findings were in line with results from the Stunkard's Scale, which revealed that 50% of the sample was dissatisfied with their current body shape and 57.1% indicated that their desired body shape was a leaner figure than one they considered healthy. Conclusions: The constant practice of restrictive diets and other weight-loss strategies to achieve a leaner body were associated with symptoms of EDs and body dissatisfaction in this sample. Importantly, the questionnaires used seemed to underestimate the presence of a disordered eating pattern reported by the participants during focus groups. These data could help to inform psychological and nutritional strategies aimed at improving performance, physical and psychological well-being, and quality of life of ballet dancers

Resumo: Este estudo teve como objetivo explorar as vivências de treinadoras de futebol em cursos de certificação oferecidos pela CBF Academy. A partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com seis treinadoras, notamos que os cursos ainda são majoritariamente ministrados por homens e para homens. Ao passo que os treinadores se expõem constantemente e sentem-se seguros para isso, as treinadoras relatam desconforto e uma constante reflexão sobre o seu posicionamento para provar sua capacidade de ocupar aquele ambiente. Esse cenário é transformado ao longo do curso à medida que as treinadoras se posicionam e tem seu conhecimento e competência reconhecidos para ocupar esse espaço. Mesmo com esses desafios, as treinadoras reconhecem essa experiência como positiva principalmente pelos relacionamentos e conteúdos proporcionados. Os conhecimentos deste estudo podem auxiliar na proposta de mudanças que favoreçam uma maior participação de treinadoras em cursos de certificação no futebol e em outros esportes

Resumo: Partimos da crítica à tendência utilitarista das abordagens baseadas no jogo (GBAs) com o objetivo de analisar como as dimensões éticas e morais se revelam no "ato de jogar" a partir da prática pedagógica do(a) treinador(a) dos esportes coletivos. Sustentados nos conceitos do "jogar" ético e do "esportear" moral, defendemos 1) a primazia do jogar sobre o esportear, 2) a necessidade de que os sentimentos éticos, manifestos pelo estado de jogo, passem pelo crivo da norma, representada pela atitude lusória e 3) que atitudes transgressoras e subversivas à regra sejam analisadas em função de sua fonte: amor a si ou resistência aos impasses promovidos pelas regras. Concluímos que o ato de jogar revela por si mesmo o plano ético-moral inerente ao jogo/esporte, sendo a instrumentalização do jogo com um comprometimento exclusivamente voltado à dimensão moral normativa um risco à dimensão ética inerente ao papel do(a) jogador(a).

Neste estudo, foi possível observar uma prevalência de 51% de Insegurança Alimentar e Nutricional (IAN) em domicílios (n=100) de cafeicultores de Ouro Fino, Sul de Minas Gerais. Não houve diferença nas prevalências de IAN segundo sexo da pessoa de referência do domicílio. As médias de renda também não foram diferentes entre os classificados ou não em IAN. Em média, os cafeicultores apresentavam 41,8+12,2 anos de idade, IMC de 25,5+4,2 kg/m2 e viviam em domicílios com 3,7+1,3 pessoas. Grande parte eram homens (65%), donos de seu domicílio (95%), cultivavam exclusivamente café (60%), trabalhavam somente em sua própria terra (73%), referiram ter horta (71,7%), utilizá-la para subsistência (96%), declararam que “arroz e feijão” eram os alimentos que não poderiam faltar (79%) e todos faziam uso de agrotóxicos (100%). Tais características são condizentes a uma situação de importante risco social e à saúde

The 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin, 5-HT) is an important inflammatory mediator found in high levels in the synovial fluid of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) of patients with inflammatory pain. In this study, we used the nociceptive behavior responses, measured as flinching the head and rubbing the orofacial region, as a nociceptive assay. We demonstrated that the local blockade of the 5-HT₃ receptor and β₁ or β₂-adrenoceptors, the depletion of norepinephrine in the sympathetic terminals and the local inhibition of cyclooxygenase significantly reduced 5-HT-induced TMJ nociception. These results demonstrated that 5-HT induces nociception in the TMJ region by the activation of β₁ and β₂ adrenoceptors located in the TMJ region and local release of sympathetic amines and prostaglandins. Therefore, the high levels of 5-HT in the synovial fluid of patients with TMJ inflammatory pain may contribute to TMJ pain by similar mechanisms

Objetivo: este trabalho resume a experiência do Grupo de Pesquisa em Ergonomia, Trabalho e Agricultura, do Programa de Pós-Graduação da Faculdade de Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), sobre a análise do trabalho agrícola com a utilização da Análise Ergonômica do Trabalho (AET). Método: reflexão circunstanciada com base no referencial teórico-metodológico da AET. Resultados: apresentam-se reflexões sobre a utilização da AET em um contexto de pesquisa acadêmica, focado no estudo do trabalho na agricultura, por meio de estudos sobre o trabalho na fruticultura e horticultura orgânica, na colheita manual da cana-de-açúcar, na avicultura de corte, em unidades de beneficiamento de tomates e na colheita florestal. Conclusões: a AET mostrou-se apropriada como um meio de aproximação ao objeto da pesquisa e sua utilização auxiliou na lapidação das hipóteses iniciais e no detalhamento dos procedimentos metodológicos.

Resumo: Esta pesquisa busca entender o impacto das plataformas digitais na forma de governança de cidades inteligentes, além de introduzir a situação brasileira nesse cenário. Utiliza da malha de Arnstein para classificar plataformas digitais e melhor compreender a governança participativa em cidades, seus benefícios e complicações. Através dela também foi possível elencar pontos de atenção para o desenvolvimento da digitalização no setor público, inclusive no Brasil. Concluiu-se que a digitalização dos serviços públicos está em progresso, pressionada pelo corpo civil por maior transparência e participação. Além disso, a detenção de dados é uma consequência importante para reduzir a vulnerabilidade do setor público. Plataformas com maior abertura à participação popular também se dedicam à educação do corpo civil e possuem canais para comunicação em via dupla, onde a população participa da formulação de soluções à projetos pré-definidos. Podem se evoluir para participação da população na formulação e priorização dos projetos públicos. Em contraste, as plataformas também podem facilitar a ludibriação e a manipulação popular, o que representa um elevado risco

O objetivo deste artigo é avaliar a associação entre a anemia e algumas atividades de vida diária associadas à alimentação e o relato de dificuldade de mastigação e deglutição. Estudo transversal, que analisou 1.256 indivíduos de 60 anos ou mais, que fizeram parte da terceira coleta do Estudo SABE (Saúde, Bem-estar e Envelhecimento). Considerou-se anêmicos homens com hemoglobina sanguínea ≤ 13g/dL e mulheres com valores ≤ 12g/dL. Houve prevalência de anemia maior nos indivíduos que relataram redução no consumo alimentar devido a queixas de mastigação e deglutição, naqueles com dificuldade de mastigação e nos que relataram dificuldade em alimentar-se devido queixas de mastigação e deglutição. A prevalência também foi maior nos indivíduos com dificuldade de alimentar-se sozinho e de fazer compras de alimentos. Nas análises, a presença de uma queixa de mastigação e deglutição foi associada à chance de anemia quase 2 vezes maior que aqueles indivíduos sem queixas, e a presença de 2 ou 3 queixas de mastigação e deglutição foi associada à chance de 2,7. Os idosos com dificuldades de deglutição e mastigação apresentaram maior prevalência de anemia, mesmo após ajuste de outros fatores associados, com efeito dose-resposta, evidenciando a importância de um trabalho multidisciplinar com o idoso

Resumo: Este artigo tem por objetivos avaliar os benefícios e os pontos negativos que a implantação de um software B2B (Business to business) usado para automatizar o processo compra e venda, juntamente com a atuação do vendedor podem trazer para a cadeia de abastecimento. Foi realizado um estudo de caso múltiplo, envolvendo quatro empresas: uma distribuidora de alimentos e três supermercados; após a adoção de software B2B como canal de negócios, foram entrevistados os envolvidos (compradores, vendedores, gestor comercial) por meio da aplicação de roteiros de entrevistas semiestruturadas, objetivando colher diferentes pontos de vista acerca do processo de compra e venda. A originalidade desta pesquisa está em avaliar em conjunto um processo de vendas automatizadas com as expectativas do vendedor. Após a análise dos resultados foi possível observar que, com a implantação deste novo canal de negócios, a distribuidora conseguiu maior produtividade, atendendo uma quantidade maior de clientes, que passaram a ter autonomia para realizar seus pedidos sem a constante dependência do vendedor. Como principal implicação teórica, tem-se a busca de equilíbrio entre o ganho de produtividade dos processos automatizados e a participação dos vendedores, que se tornam gestores de relacionamento com o cliente. Para as empresas envolvidas, destacam-se os diversos ganhos em termos de produtividade, agilidade e maior capacidade de realização de negócios

Abstract: We propose a blind source separation method based on Bayesian inference in order to separate two sources in a linear-quadratic mixing model. This nonlinear model describes for example the response of a non-selective metal-oxide gas sensor (MOX) in presence of two gases such as acetone and ethanol diluted in an air buffer. In order to quantify the gas components, it is necessary to inverse the linear-quadratic model. In addition, we look for reducing the number of samples for the calibration step. Therefore, we here propose a Bayesian blind source separation method, with only few points of calibration and which is based on Monte Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) sampling methods to estimate the mean of the posterior distribution. We analyze the performance on a set of simulated samples. We use a cross-validation approach, with three steps: first, we blindly estimate the mixing coefficients and sources; second, we correct the scale factors thanks to few calibration samples; and third, we validate the method on validation samples, estimating sources thanks to mixing coefficients estimated before on the calibration samples. We compare this unsupervised nonlinear method with a supervised method to evaluate the performance with respect to the number of calibration points: with 10 calibration points instead of 160, the performance achieves 11 dB, with a loss limited to 1.5 dB

The lot-sizing and cutting-stock problems arise, in general, in manufacturing industries as subsequent processes. Many authors have addressed these problems separately; however, some studies have considered integrated approaches to these problems in recent practical applications. This paper aims to introduce a new model for integrated lot-sizing, one-dimensional cutting-stock and two-dimensional cutting-stock problems. This integrated model can be used to address the papermaking process as a three-phase subsequent process, which starts from the production of jumbos and ends with the paper sheets used in daily life. The first phase of the process is modeled according to a lot-sizing problem, where the quantities of jumbos are determined to meet the demand of the entire planning horizon. The second phase is modeled as a one-dimensional cutting-stock problem, where the jumbos are cut into smaller reels. The reels are used as raw material for the third phase of the process, where they are cut again into sheets employing a two-dimensional cutting-stock problem. A heuristic algorithm that uses the column generation and relax-and-fix techniques is applied to evaluate the proposed model from a series of experiments. Gains of up 16.5% were observed compared to the solution obtained with no integration among the production phases. Additional analyses of the model behavior under multiple scenarios resulted in significant findings, as the increasing costs’ reduction as more product types are considered and the use of more efficient cutting patterns resulting in reduced material waste

Abstract: Phenolic acids are phytochemical compounds widely known for their pharmacological potential in promoting human health. This bibliometric analysis explored the research trends, gaps, and application of phenolic acids over the last five years. The results obtained demonstrate a remarkable increase in the number of published documents over the last five years, amounting to 6134 articles and 833 reviews. Through keyword network analysis, the research field concerning phenolic acids featured an important cluster of antioxidant activity and polyphenols. Furthermore, the major theme, "phenolic acids" has been advanced by the study of metabolomics, mass spectrometry, chromatography, bioavailability, and bioaccessibility, which are important topics to identify these phytochemicals compounds and their impact on human health. The future trends in phenolic acids are focused on the biological properties (antioxidant capacity, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and anticancer activity) for the industrial and pharmaceutical applications in the development of innovative nutraceutical products based on phenolic acids extracted from natural sources

The pathogenesis of cancer anorexia is multifactorial and associated with disturbances of the central physiological mechanisms controlling food intake. However, the neurochemical mechanisms responsible for cancer-induced anorexia are unclear. Here we show that chronic infusion of 5-amino- 4imidazolecarboxamide-riboside into the third cerebral ventricle and a chronic peripheral injection of 2 deoxy-D-glucose promotes hypothalamic AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activation, increases food intake, and prolongs the survival of anorexic tumor-bearing (TB) rats. In parallel, the pharmacological activation of hypothalamic AMPK in TB animals markedly reduced the hypothalamic production of inducible nitric oxide synthase, IL-1β, and TNF-α and modulated the expression of proopiomelanocortin, a hypothalamic neuropeptide that is involved in the control of energy homeostasis. Furthermore, the daily oral and intracerebroventricular treatment with biguanide antidiabetic drug metformin also induced AMPK phosphorylation in the central nervous system and increased food intake and life span in anorexic TB rats. Collectively, the findings of this study suggest that hypothalamic AMPK activation reverses cancer anorexia by inhibiting the production of proinflammatory molecules and controlling the neuropeptide expression in the hypothalamus, reflecting in a prolonged life span in TB rats. Thus, our data indicate that hypothalamic AMPK activation presents an attractive opportunity for the treatment of cancer-induced anorexia

Sport coaching in Brazil is a regulated profession that requires higher education qualifications. A degree in physical education (PE) is mandatory since 1998 for those who aspire to work as coaches in the country, which has led universities and professors to play a key role in developing coaches through formal education. Through a personal narrative approach. we-a professor and a PhD candidate-wrote this paper with the purpose of sharing our pathways and reflections in implementing a learner-centred teaching (LCT) approach in an undergraduate coaching course in Brazil, both acting as coach developers (CDs). From a personal and professional growth perspective, as CDs, we acknowledge the relevance of offering such practical experiences along with reflection and peer sharing as crucial steps for practitioners to improve CD expertise in the higher education setting. By reflecting on the potential of a LCT approach in higher education, we demonstrate how LCT strategies can enhance opportunities for student-coaches to gain exposure to meaningful practical coaching situations as a way to better develop their coaching skills within the university environment

Resumo: Este estudo buscou mapear a produção de conhecimento sobre a composição coreográfica na área da Ginástica para Todos (GPT), identificando a incidência e viés com o qual essa temática é abordada pela literatura especializada. Para tal, realizamos uma revisão de literatura -do tipo "estado da arte" -, tendo como fonte os Anais das nove edições (2001-2018) do Fórum Internacional de Ginástica para Todos (FIGPT), além dos periódicos Capes, SportDiscus, ERIC, Scielo, Scopus, Sistema de Bibliotecas Unicamp e Google Acadêmico. Identificamos 50 publicações nos Anais do FIGPT acerca do tema, enquanto nas bases de dados foram identificadas apenas quatro publicações que tratavam especificamente sobre CC. Sendo as instituições às quais os autores se filiam, em sua maioria, do Sudeste, o material levantado indica que, embora a CC seja a principal forma de manifestação da prática da GPT, as produções acadêmico-científicas sobre o tema ainda se mostram incipientes, considerando os periódicos científicos

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar um processo pedagógico, alicerçado em "A Festa de Babette", para estudantes de Nutrição, da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Primeiramente, analisou-se o conto "A Festa de Babette", de Karen Blixen, e o filme homônimo, de Gabriel Axel, com base em conceitos e obras de referência. Posteriormente, foi elaborado, aplicado e analisado um processo pedagógico na disciplina Educação Alimentar e Nutricional. Na coleta de dados, foram realizados dois grupos focais com sete estudantes voluntárias e discutidos os principais temas identificados: o choque de cultura entre a alimentação francesa e as práticas restritivas religiosas, a dedicação de Babette ao jantar e a relevância da comensalidade. Em conclusão, a culinária e o cuidado, atrelados ao cozinhar e ao comer, fomentaram rotas para a compreensão de conceitos trabalhados na disciplina, a sensibilização sobre essas dimensões e as possibilidades de atuação profissional que considerem outros matizes da vida social

Abstract: The Food Choice Questionnaire (FCQ) was applied to assess the motivations for daily food choices and associated factors in a Brazilian sample. Data were collected from January to July 2019 from 525 individuals over 18 years old recruited face-to-face in different places (e.g., university, public squares, health posts), using a convenient, intentional, and reasoned sampling. In addition to the FCQ, socioeconomic data were collected from printed questionnaires. Answers were given using a seven-point scale, ranging from (1) strongly disagree to (7) strongly agree. After Confirmatory factor analysis led to the rejection of the original FCQ structure, exploratory factor analysis was performed. Eight factors were extracted and named: nutritional composition, mood, health, sensory appeal, price, preparation convenience, familiarity, and purchase convenience. Background: Septins belong to the GTPase superclass of proteins and have been functionally implicated in cytokinesis and the maintenance of cellular morphology. They are found in all eukaryotes, except in plants. In mammals, 14 septins have been described that can be divided into four groups. It has been shown that mammalian septins can engage in homo- and heterooligomeric assemblies, in the form of filaments, which have as a basic unit a hetero-trimeric core. In addition, it has been speculated that the septin filaments may serve as scaffolds for the recruitment of additional proteins. Methodology/Principal Findings: Here, we performed yeast two-hybrid screens with human septins 1-10, which include representatives of all four septin groups. Among the interactors detected, we found predominantly other septins, confirming the tendency of septins to engage in the formation of homo- and heteropolymeric filaments. Conclusions/Significance: If we take as reference the reported arrangement of the septins 2, 6 and 7 within the heterofilament, (7-6-2-2-6-7), we note that the majority of the observed interactions respect the "group rule", i.e. members of the same group (e. g. 6, 8, 10 and 11) can replace each other in the specific position along the heterofilament. Septins of the SEPT6 group preferentially interacted with septins of the SEPT2 group (p<0.001), SEPT3 group (p<0.001) and SEPT7 group (p<0.001). SEPT2 type septins preferentially interacted with septins of the SEPT6 group (p<0.001) aside from being the only septin group which interacted with members of its own group. Finally, septins of the SEPT3 group interacted preferentially with septins of the SEPT7 group (p<0.001). Furthermore, we found non-septin interactors which can be functionally attributed to a variety of different cellular activities, including: ubiquitin/sumoylation cycles, microtubular transport and motor activities, cell division and the cell cycle, cell motility, protein phosphorylation/signaling, endocytosis, and apoptosis

Abstract: Most studies regarding models of tensegrity systems miss the possibility of large static deformations or provide elaborate and lengthy solutions to determine the system dynamics. Contrarily, this work presents a straightforward methodology to find the dynamic characteristics of a guyed tensegrity beam structure, allowing the application of vibration control strategies in conditions of large deformations. The methodology is based on a low order, adaptive, nonlinear finite element model with pre-stressed components. The method is applied to numerical and experimental models of a class 2 tensegrity structure with a high length-to-width aspect ratio. Image processing and accelerometer data are combined to extract the experimental natural frequencies of the structure, which are compared to numerical results. Resumo: O desenvolvimento do trabalho com a Educação Ambiental (EA) na escola pode trazer inúmeras transformações para esse contexto, pois nesse ambiente, de convívio social, acontecem as principais relações entre as crianças. A integração da EA com a Educação Nutricional (EN) desperta o prazer e o interesse por uma vida saudável. Sendo assim, o trabalho desenvolvido teve como objetivo apresentar aos alunos da educação infantil, informações sobre alimentação saudável e propiciar a mudanças nos hábitos alimentares dos mesmos. O trabalho foi realizado a partir de atividades pedagógicas lúdicas, atividades expositivas e construção de uma horta para plantio de alimentos. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a EA e a EN, quando trabalhadas em conjunto, é eficaz na transformação de hábitos e quando acontece no meio escolar também propicia mudanças fora desse ambiente

Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar um panorama sobre os fundamentos teóricos e normativos da Educação em Direitos Humanos (EDH) no âmbito do ensino superior, atribuindo especial destaque ao processo constitutivo desta prática educativa no contexto brasileiro. Para tanto, buscou-se compreender o contexto pelo qual as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) estão inseridas – em especial as universidades públicas –, bem como a fundamentação teórica acerca da EDH presente na literatura acadêmica e nos principais instrumentos e normativas brasileiras. Como resultados principais, é possível destacar o seguinte: (a) a EDH, enquanto prática educativa recente, atrela-se à perspectiva de que o compromisso social a ser assumido pelas universidades públicas consiste na produção de pesquisa básica e na formação de conhecimentos críticos; (b) esta prática, por ser parte essencial do conjunto de direitos fundamentais, tem como intuito prevenir violações e informar e fazer conhecer os direitos pelos quais somos sujeitos; (c) no ensino superior, a EDH está positivada, principalmente, no Plano Nacional de EDH, bem como nas diretrizes nacionais para a EDH, se constituindo enquanto um eixo de atuação pelo qual as universidades brasileiras são demandadas a atuar

Abstract: This paper introduces a new flow-based mathematical formulation for the multivehicle covering tour problem. This problem determines a set of vehicle routes for the available fleet; therefore, the total distance traveled is minimal. In the proposed mathematical formulation, each vertex represents a location of interest, and these vertices belong to three sets: vertices that can be visited; vertices that must be visited; and vertices that must be covered, in the sense that each vertex must be close to a visited vertex in a route. The proposed formulation aims to find solutions with balanced routes (all the routes with an equal or similar number of visited nodes) and extends the previous formulations proposed in the literature by considering a two-index vehicle flow formulation with a decision variable to find the balanced routes. It constitutes an NP-hard integer programming problem based on a two-commodity flow model, which is solved by applying the branch-and-cut and biased random-key genetic algorithms. This paper reports computational results for some adapted instances from TSPLIB to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed model. The computational results validate the branch-and-cut and genetic algorithms, whereby the latter performs better in large-size instances with reduced computational runtime. Finally, the used approaches obtained competitive solutions compared to the literature
