Resumo: Os estudos acerca da Internacionalização do Ensino Superior abordam questões que vão desde as formas de internacionalização, num caráter mais descritivo, até os efeitos positivos ou negativos desse fenômeno. Nesta tese propus-me pensar as relações humanas estabelecidas na internacionalização pela perspectiva de seu potencial para a humanização ou desumanização dos indivíduos. Percorrendo questões que afetam essas relações intersubjetivas, em especial o imaginário relativo ao outro e a nós, busquei investigar como a constituição de categorias pelas quais o outro é representado e uma visão acerca da própria internacionalização do Ensino Superior podem abrir espaço para a instauração de experiências de humanização ou de desumanização. Além de discussões teóricas, voltei-me também para a experiência de internacionalização ocorrida na Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp, através do acordo de colaboração entre essa universidade e a Universidade de Siegen, Alemanha. Abstract: The studies about the Internationalization of Higher Education approach questions ranging from the forms of internationalization, in a more descriptive character, to the positive or negative effects of this phenomenon. In this thesis I propose to think the human relations established in the internationalisation by the perspective of their potential for the humanization or dehumanization of the individuals. Going through issues that affect these intersubjective relations, especially the imaginary about the other and us, I seek to investigate how the constitution of categories for which the other is represented and how a vision about the Internationalization of Higher Education itself can open space for the introduction of experiences of humanization or dehumanization. In addition to theoretical discussions, I also turn to the experience of internationalisation that took place in the Faculty of Education of Unicamp, through the Agreement of Cooperation between this university and the University of Sigen, Germany.
