Resumo: Este trabalho analisa a construção memorialística e os primeiros relatos historiográficos acerca da Guerra Cisplatina apreciando os discursos dos representantes das três regiões envolvidas, a saber: as Províncias Unidas do Rio da Prata, o Império brasileiro e a Banda Oriental. A pesquisa pretendeu identificar as culturas políticas em jogo durante a elaboração desses textos que não guardavam, necessariamente, relação com a guerra; mas que demonstram, nesta pesquisa, que a escrita dessas narrativas atendeu, sobretudo, ao jogo político do período em que foram formuladas ¿ a segunda metade do oitocentos ¿ momento de embate e consolidação de projetos de cunho nacional nos três países envolvidos Ver menos

Abstract: This work aims to analyze the memoirs construction and the first historiographical reports about the Cisplatine War, making use of the representatives¿ of the three regions involved speeches, namely: the United Provinces of the River Plate, the Brazilian Empire and the Cisplatine State. The research targets to identify the political cultures which are at stake during the creation of these texts, for they do not keep necessarily related to the war.
