Resumo: Neste trabalho, apresentamos os detalhes do estudo do espaço de moduli e dos invariantes de Seiberg-Witten, tratando primeiro dos pré-requisitos necessários para entender a linguagem da teoria de Seiberg-Witten, e também, das ferramentas que serão utilizadas nesse estudo. Começamos o trabalho fornecendo os conceitos básicos da teoria de calibres, e depois abordamos os principais objetos estudados pela geometria spin. Na sequência, apresentamos as equações de Seiberg-Witten e estudamos a construção do espaço de moduli associado, para então definirmos os invariantes de Seiberg-Witten. Por fim, apresentamos algumas aplicações desses invariantes no estudo de 4-variedades simpléticas e na topologia-diferencial de 4-variedades Ver menos

Abstract: In this work, we present the details of the study of the Seiberg-Witten moduli space and the Seiberg-Witten invariants, initially addressing the necessary background to comprehend the language of Seiberg-Witten theory and the tools employed in this study. We begin by providing the basics of gauge theory, followed by a discussion of the key objects studied in spin geometry. After that, we present the Seiberg-Witten equations and study the construction of the associated moduli space, leading to the definition of the Seiberg-Witten invariants. Finally, we present some applications of these invariants in the study of symplectic 4-manifolds and the differential topology of 4-manifolds Ver menos
