Resumo: A urbanização marcadamente periférica da região Noroeste de Campinas -, repleta de vazios urbanos, infraestrutura urbana precária e degradação ambiental, - passa, desde o início do século XXI, por processos de mudanças com investimentos do setor público e privado entre os quais: construção de um shopping center, corredor de ônibus BRT (Bus Rapid Transport), um Parque Natural, implantação de loteamentos e condomínios. Dentro deste contexto, apresentamos como a produção advinda dos agentes de produção do espaço urbano estão provocando rearranjos espaciais ao se sobrepor à produção do espaço construída até então. Para compreender as transformações espaciais que ocorrem e seus desdobramentos para a população local, analisamos a atuação do poder público e do setor imobiliário, identificando suas ações e inter-relações com a Lei do Plano Diretor de Campinas de 2006 e as alterações de 2018, com a revisão da Lei, instituindo um Plano Diretor Estratégico. Identificamos grandes e rápidas alterações no espaço relacionadas à edificação do Shopping Parque das Bandeiras, à expansão de loteamentos e edificações em altura, além do corredor de ônibus (BRT). Fica evidente que o espaço é um campo em disputa dentro da sociedade, ou seja, as lutas de classes se materializam no espaço, e que se manifestam com os rearranjos espaciais, como o da região Noroeste de Campinas Ver menos

Abstract: The peripheral urbanization of the Northwest region of Campinas, full of urban voids, precarious urban infrastructure and environmental degradation, has been undergoing, since the beginning of the 21st century, by processes of changes with public and private sector investments, that include: construction of a shopping center, bus corridor called BRT (Bus Rapid Transport), a Natural Park, implementation of new neighborhoods and condominiums. Within this context, we present how the production arising from the production agents of urban space are causing spatial rearrangements by overlapping the production of space built until then. In order to understand the spatial transformations that occur and their consequences for the local population, we analyzed the performance of the government and the real estate sector, identifying their actions and interrelationships with the Campinas Master Plan of 2006 and 2018, with the revision of the Law, instituting a Strategic Master Plan. We identified large and rapid changes in the space related to the construction of Shopping Parque das Bandeiras, the expansion of allotments and high-rise buildings, in addition to the bus corridor (BRT). It is evident that the space is a disputed field within society, that is, class struggles materialize in space and that are manifested with the spatial rearrangements such as the one in the northwest region of Campinas Ver menos
