Resumo: Este trabalho analisa estratégias de (des)legitimidade da linguagem inclusiva de gêneros que, inicialmente, em oposição ao masculino genérico normatizado, reivindicava a nomeação e desinência femininas, mas que se expandiu para uma reivindicação de combate ao machismo e à cisnormatividade, criação de formas de representação e reconhecimento de identidades de gêneros que ultrapassam a perspectiva binária de gênero social e nomeiam a existência de pessoas de gêneros não binários - que incluem uma pluralidade de identidades. As estratégias são analisadas nos seguintes contextos: a) a manualização e criação de instrumentos linguísticos para romper o sexismo linguístico no Brasil (Barbosa Filho, 2022), em comparação com um recorte recente da Argentina (Glozman, 2012); b) a perspectiva de docentes e funcionários sobre a linguagem inclusiva de gêneros na comunicação institucional interna na Unicamp, se a (re)conheciam e usavam; c) a experiência de pessoas de gêneros não binários com a linguagem inclusiva de gêneros, da comunidade interna/externa da universidade, com base em seus relatos. A pesquisa começou em um projeto de pesquisa do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica, em 2019, seguindo uma abordagem sociolinguística - que influenciou a metodologia dos questionários. Depois se aproximou da linguística textual - pelas referências de pesquisadores da área discutindo o tema - e da análise do discurso - pelo entendimento de que os discursos são atravessados pelas ideologias -, fundamental para compreender como a legitimidade da linguagem inclusiva de gêneros pode resultar em uma maior visibilidade da existência de gêneros não binários, aumentando a representatividade dessas identidades, a partir da popularização da linguagem inclusiva de gênero. Por se tratar de um trabalho de conclusão do curso de Licenciatura em Letras, a abordagem teórica multidisciplinar e híbrida corresponde à experiência de formação da autora com a proposta pedagógica da universidade e com sua bagagem sociocultural. Esse olhar multidisciplinar contribuiu para analisar um espaço de disputa e de poder: a língua, que também é um objeto tão plural, diverso, imprevisível e em constante transformação. Abstract: This paper analyzes strategies of (de)legitimacy of gender-inclusive language. Genderinclusive language, in opposition to the normatized generic masculine in Portuguese, claimed feminine nomination and feminine desinence. Furthermore, that expands to a claim of combating male chauvinism and cisnormativity by the creation of forms of representation and recognition of gender identities that go beyond the binary perspective of social gender and name the existence of people of non-binary genders - which include a plurality of identities. We analyzed those strategies in the following contexts: a) the manualization and creation of linguistic tools to break linguistic sexism in Brazil (Barbosa Filho, 2022), in comparison with a recent review from Argentina (Glozman, 2012); b) the perspective of faculty and staff on gender-inclusive language in internal institutional communication at Unicamp; c) the experience of people of non-binary genders with gender-inclusive language from the internal/external community of the university, based on their accounts. The research started as an undergraduate research following a sociolinguistic approach - which influenced the methodology of the questionnaires. Then it approached textual linguistics - by the references of researchers in the area discussing the topic - and discourse analysis - by the understanding that discourses are crossed by ideologies, fundamental to understanding how the illegitimacy of gender-inclusive language can result in greater visibility of the existence of non-binary genders, increasing the representativeness of these identities by the popularization of gender-inclusive language. Since this is the final paper of the undergraduate program of Teaching Degree in Languages - Portuguese, the multidisciplinary and hybrid theoretical approach corresponds to the author's training experience with the pedagogical proposal of the university and with its sociocultural approach. This multidisciplinary look has contributed to the analysis of a space of dispute and power: language, which is also a plural, diverse, unpredictable, and constantly changing object.
