Title: Simulation Of Hybrid Reflections In X-ray Multiple Diffraction Experiments

Abstract: In this paper an approach is developed to simulate multiple diffraction divergent beam patterns taking into account the hybrid steaks which involve scattering from the layer and the substrate planes in epitaxial structures. Furthermore, the peak positions and the beam divergence effect on the peak width can also be analysed in Renninger scans. The analysis of the beam divergence as well as the simulations of multiple diffraction divergent beam patterns applied to gallium aluminum arsenide layers on gallium arsenide have provided very good results. © 1991.
