|Title:||Covalent Bond Pairing In An Extended Hubbard Model With Correlated Hopping : Interplay Of Antiferromagnetism And Superconductivity|
|Abstract:||An extended one-band Hubbard model, including Coulomb repulsion and correlated hopping between nearest neighbors, is studied for the square lattice. The onset of superconductivity in the presence of antiferromagnetism is tested, near to and away from half filling, using a mean field approach. Competition between on-site and inter-site repulsion, modulated by correlated hopping, yields a covalent bond configuration with partial intrasite and intersite pairings. In addition, antiferromagnetism induces a mixed p- and s-type pairing, and completely suppresses superconductivity when the magnetic moment gets saturation. We discuss the relevance of the present model in relation to copper oxide superconductors. © 1990.|
