Title: Magnetic Permeability Aftereffect In Amorphous Co-mn Alloys

Abstract: Amorphous ribbons with compositions Co77-xMnxSi14B9 (x = 0-15) and Co75-xMnxFeMoSi14B9 (x = 1-7) were prepared by melt-spinning. The room-temperature values of the specific magnetization σs, the saturation magnetostriction λs and permeability aftereffect Δμ/μ were determined for comparison with the theory of Allia and Vinai. The crystallization temperature Tx was determined for all compositions. The influence of the alloy stability and casting conditions on the permeability aftereffect is discussed.
