Title: New Porous Ptfe Separator For High Temperature Water Electrolysers

Abstract: We have developed and tested a new PTFE porous diaphragm for high temperature and high pressure alkaline water electrolysers. The separator was prepared by a combined technique of electrophoretic deposition and a film pressing technique. Final surface treatments make the Teflon wettable. The mechanical properties of the samples produced by this technique are substantially improved over our previous diaphragms. © 1988.
