|Title:||35cl Nqr Studies Of Irradiation Defects In Chlorates|
|Abstract:||Irradiation defects were produced in polycrystalline samples of KClO3, NaCIO3 and Ba(CIO3)2·H2O at 300 K by γ irradiation. The frequency, the linewidth, and the intensity of the 35Cl NQR signal were investigated at 77 and 300 K as a function of the irradiation dose. In the irradiated crystals the resonance line is broadened, its intensity is reduced, and its center frequency is displaced to lower values. The perturbations of the NQR signal are less pronounced at lower temperatures. The observations can be explained satisfactorily if only elastic distortions of the chlorate lattice are taken into consideration. © 1978.|
