Title: Cosmological Bounds In Mavan Models

Abstract: Mass varying neutrino (MaVaN) is a class of models which in cosmology try to explain the coincidence of dark energy density through a tracking mechanism related with neutrinos. This special model couples the quintessential scalar field with neutrino generating an effective mass which becomes variable. Furthermore, it has been shown that an additional coupling among the quintessential field and baryons could generate specific dependences of neutrino mass with baryonic density. © 2012 Elsevier B.V.
