|Title:||Polaron Effects In Resonant Raman Scattering|
|Abstract:||Loudon's resonant Raman scattering theory is reconsidered by including polaron effects in the intermediate electron states. The Fröhlich Hamiltonian is used to derive the polaron propagators. Numerical calculations were carried out for CdS which show that polaron effects produce a large enhancement of the scattered intensity, improving the agreement between theoretical and experimental results. © 1974.|
