Title: Magnetic Properties Of Cu-permalloy Granular Alloy

Abstract: Magnetization measurements were performed on Cu80Fe 4Ni16 melt-spun alloys thermally treated at several temperatures up to 600°C. The magnetization curves were fitted using the sum of paramagnetic and ferromagnetic contributions, where the paramagnetic component is given by a Langevin function weighted by a lognormal moment distribution. The average moment of superparamagnetic clusters was determined, ranging from 31 to 11000 μB, corresponding to average cluster sizes between 0.9 and 6.2 nm. © 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
