Abstract: The quality of the medicinal plants is obtained during the whole productive process, from the botanical identification, the choice of the vegetal material, the time and plantation place, the cultural treatments, the determination of the harvest time and the care for the crop. The post-harvest of the medicinal plants is the group of processes used to preserve the quality of the product acquired through the suitable techniques of cultivation to increase the period of conservation of this product. The "good agricultural practices" in medicinal and aromatic plants are a group of technologies used for the obtaining of the maximum of the quality for the vegetal drug.
