|Title:||Thermochemical Parameters Of α-picoline N-oxide Adducts Of Some Divalent Transition Metal Bromides|
|Abstract:||Thermochemical parameters for the adducts [MBr2(α-picoNO) n] (where M is Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) or Zn(II); α-picoNO is α-picoline N-oxide and n=2 or 4) were determined through reaction-solution calorimetry in methanol or aqueous 1.2 M HCl at 298 K as the standard enthalpies for the Lewis acid/base reactions, the standard enthalpies of formation, the lattice standard enthalpies, the standard enthalpies of decomposition and the standard enthalpies for the Lewis acid/base reactions in the gaseous phase. The mean bond dissociation standard enthalpies of the M(II)-oxygen coordinated bond were calculated by using the standard molar enthalpies of formation of the gaseous adducts. ©2005Akadé miaiKiadó,Budapest.|
