|Title:||Managing The Superelevation And Comparing The Rail Life In Curves With Unbalance Versus Adequate Superelevation At Mrs Heavy Haul Railroad|
De Lima E Paiva C.E.
|Abstract:||This study has the purpose of identifying the real speeds practiced by the trains for each curve of the Iron Ore circuit at MRS (Center Line and Steel line) and establishing a more adequate value of the superelevation for each curve. In parallel to this, the study of the consequences of the unbalancing superelevation in the useful life of the external tracks became (consuming) and interns (kneading) in accordance with the cyclical inspections of the Track Evaluation Vehicle (Track Star) have been controlled with the use of software Range Cam in the monitoring of the evolution of the profile of the tracks in use in the studied curves.|
