|Abstract:||The aim of this paper is to analyze two alternative paths to neoliberalism practiced by parties clearly conservative. Examines the experiences of New Labour in Britain, with the victory of Tony Blair in 1997 and the Partido dos Trabalhadores (Workers Party), with the election of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in 2002, seeking to indicate its elements of continuity and discontinuity in relation to their respective previous governments.|
