Title: Digital Fabrication Of Physical Models To Analyze Unbuilt Projects Using Laser Cutter

Abstract: In this article we present the analysis methodology of research in process, which the original contribution lies in the analysis of thirty-nine unbuilt projects of the architect João Batista Vilanova Artigas, using physical models derived from the digital fabrication. This precious artifact extends the possibilities of research and understanding of architecture. We present images of the steps of creating physical models of the projects that are being studied. Further to methodological and technical production of physical models, high light its importance for the understanding of unbuilt projects. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group.
