Title: Expanding Frequency Comb By Means Of Enhanced Multiple Four-wave Mixing

Abstract: This works presents an efficient scheme for enhancing multiple four-wave mixing by using optical feedback, highly nonlinear and erbium-doped fibers. Numerical results illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method and its applicability is experimentally demonstrated by expanding an original frequency comb from 20 to 100 optical mutually coherent lines. © 2014 Copyright SPIE.
