Abstract: The objective of the present study was search for validity evidences of a language oral test through the correlation with a scale which evaluates the attention and hyperactivity deficit (TDAH) and the influence of the age, education and gender variables on the score. Were appraised 125 children with ages between five and ten years old, all students of the primary school level instruments used were the Bateria Informatizada de Linguagem Oral (BI-LO), applied collectively at the computer science laboratory with orientation of four applicators and the Escala de Déficit e de Atenção e Hiperatividade for teachers, which they answered the instrument individually. Inverse and significant correlation was verified between BILO and the deficit factors of attention and learning problems of the TDAH scale. The results revealed that BILO discriminates the scores of the respondent in function of the grade and age, being, therefore, an evidence of criterion validity for the battery.
