Abstract: A fast and reliable technique (STELDI-MS) for Cannabis sativa L. compound determination in extracts emerges as a relevant tool to help increase effectiveness in law enforcement. Cannabis sativa L. samples are extracted in a water-methanol system. Metabolic fingerprinting and structural elucidation are quickly achieved in real samples, with minimal sample preparation. © 2014 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
