|Title:||Lectotypification of the names Clusia major and C-minor (Clusiaceae)|
|Abstract:||The lectotypification of Clusia major L., the type of Clusia L., is examined. It is shown that the lectotypes hitherto proposed should be superseded; a new lectotype is designated. As a consequence, C. subg. Thysanoclusia and C. sect. Stauroclusia become C. subg. Clusia and sect. Clusia respectively. The correct name for C. sect. Euclasia, nom. inval., is C. sect. Chlamydoclusia. An earlier lectotype designation for C. minor is superseded as the holotype still exists. A lectotype for C. plukenetii Urb. is also designated.|
