|Title:||Death as a political category: A case study|
|Abstract:||This study is an attempt to explore if death, which is here seen as a political category, may occupy the position of a so-called universal category (the term 'universal' is defined later in the article). The approach adopted in this paper is a linguistic/discursive one, taking as a point of departure the analysis of the discursive practices of speakers in situations or contexts in which they have to deal with death and the process of individual or social mourning.|
