|Title:||Survey of some components of propolis which were collected by Apis mellifera in Brazil|
|Abstract:||Some samples of propolis of Apis mellifera were collected from honeycombs in various regions of Brazil and ethanol soluble substances were extracted by using 80% of ethanol. The concentrations of total flavonoids of the extracts were examined and some fractions of flavonoid aglycones were analysed by U.V.-Spectrophotometer, High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPLC) and High Performance Liquid Cromatography (HPLC). It was found that concentrations of total flavonoids and flavonoid aglycones such as galangin, chrysin and quercetin were significantly variable and dependent on environmental plant ecology.|
