|Title:||New energy levels of the Kr III spectrum|
|Abstract:||A new analysis of the optical spectrum of Kr III is presented. The configurations 4s(2)4p(4), 4s4p(5), 4s(2)4p(3)5p, and 4s(2)4p(3)(4d + 5d + 6d + 5s + 6s + 7s) have been studied and the energy levels reported for these configurations were revised and extended to include three new levels of the 4s(2)4p(3)6s configuration, 16 new levels of the 4s(2)4p(3)5d configuration and five new levels of the 4s(2)4p(3)6d configuration. Twenty known level values of the odd configurations were redesignated. The energy parameters were obtained using relativistic Hartree-Fock (HFR) calculations. Configuration interaction Rydberg series have been included in the calculations and calculated lifetime values for the energy levels of the odd configurations are also presented.|
