|Title:||Evaluation of the optimization of the performance of an electron capture detector|
|Abstract:||In this work studies were undertaken to ascertain how the flow of the detector gas into an Electron Capture Detector (ECD) and the temperature of the ECD body act jointly to determine the intensity of the detector signals for hexachlorobenzene. The purpose of this study was to optimize the ECD performance for its application in the analysis of hexachlorobenzene in soil and water samples. In the herein described studies the chemometric data analysis was accomplished with the programs Complete Factorial, Sequential Simplex and Response Surface.|
