|Abstract:||We prove that solutions by direct regularization of linear systems are equivalent to truncated iterations of certain type of iterative methods. Our proofs extend previous results of H. E. Fleming to the rank-deficient case. We give a unified approach that includes the undetermined and overdetermined problems.|
