Title: Quantum and classical aspects of deformation in the symmetric pairing model

Abstract: We examine the interesting physics for the Symmetric Pairing Model from the point of view of dynamical systems. The well known transition from spherical to deformed regime is shown to possess a classical analogue where we find a separatrix between the two regimes. The relevant wave functions are studied by means of Husimi distributions.
