|Title:||QUANTITATIVE CRANIAL CHARACTER VARIATION IN SELECTED POPULATIONS OF THE GUYANNENSIS-GROUP OF PROECHIMYS (RODENTIA, ECHIMYIDAE) FROM BRAZIL|
|Abstract:||Patterns of geographic variation in quantitative cranial traits were analyzed in selected populations of the guyannensis a group of Proechimys. Amazonian population samples varied in west-east cline and were shown to occupy distinct regions in multivariate character space from population samples from northeastern and central Brazil. The systematic implications of these results are discussed.|
