|Title:||An integral equation analysis of two-dimensional dielectric gratings|
|Abstract:||Electromagnetic wave propagation in true-dimensional dielectric gratings, consisting of a periodic away of rectangular anisotropic dielectric waveguides, is examined here using an integral equation including the application of the moment method, the volume equivalence theorem, and an adequate electric field expansion inside each rectangular dielectric waveguide. Curves of normalized phase constant as functions of the normalized Floquet's wavenumber are obtained for various waveguide dimensions.
