Title: Acoustical and noises in narrow linewidth lasers

Abstract: The acoustical effects on the noise spectrum of narrow linewidth lasers are experimentally evaluated employing Mach–Zehnder fiber interferometer with homodyne detection. The analysis includes an external cavity laser (ECL), a He–Ne Laser, and an integrated external cavity laser (IECL). It is shown that the noises of very narrow linewidth lasers have a Gaussian behavior if the acoustical noises in the fiber and laser are reduced employing a vacuum environment over an optical table
