|Title:||Self-sustainable economic and financial management business incubators : a case study in brazilian incubators|

|Abstract:||This article has as its main objective to analyze initiatives that are being developed by four incubators of Brazilian companies seeking a selfsustainable economic and financial management (SEFM). The need to search for these initiatives was intensified especially after 2010, when the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Businesses (SEBRAE) broke contract with almost 10,000 consultants providing consultancy services and training offered in his name, leaving many entities and organizations such as business incubators without the provision of these services to the incubated companies. Among the various initiatives developed by incubators surveyed include: the change of marketing positioning of the incubator; the provision of technical consultancy for the general population and other companies; the creation of the concept of associated undertaking; the establishment of partnerships with companies in the geographical region of the incubator; the creation of regional networks of cooperation between incubators; lease of pits and commercial and industrial areas; establishment of contracts of "royalties" between incubators and business graduated; provision of consultancy services to other incubators and technology parks; and, leasing of equipment, laboratory and auditoriums|
