Educação ambiental : reflexões e conexões à luz dos geoparques

Abstract

Resumo: As relações entre sujeitos e destes com o meio ambiente possibilitam captar razões e emoções, estimulando reflexões holísticas acerca das maneiras pelas quais atitudes e atos corriqueiros e cotidianos influenciam o macrossistema ambiental como um todo. O trabalho tem como escopo revelar e provocar inquietações sobre o habitual, externalizando questionamentos pungentes ante as necessidades de transformações impostas por realidades diversas. Os Geoparques, estruturados em determinados territórios e aqui (re)construídos dialeticamente nos espaços geográficos, revelam potenciais geológicos, arqueológicos, paleontológicos, culturais, históricos, turísticos, ecológicos e paisagísticos, e desvelam "novas" dimensões, cujas influências não mais podem ser relevadas ou mitigadas. Ademais, busca-se conjecturar como tais espaços podem influenciar e serem mútua e reflexamente influenciados por possíveis outros modos de educação em geral, e pela Educação Ambiental, especificamente. Nesse sentido, foi possível concatenar determinadas bases teóricas e dimensioná-las à prática, bem como reconhecer e legitimar as culturas, as histórias, os hábitos e costumes como cânones condutores das práticas locais nestes territórios. Este estudo aponta, portanto, que a Educação Ambiental calcada em bases desenvolvidas preferencialmente em Geoparques socioespaciais (mas não exclusivamente) busca o fortalecimento de culturas por meio da interação ecológica, do pertencimento ambiental e da emancipação coletiva

Abstract: The relationship between subjects and their relationship with the environment makes it possible to capture reasons and emotions, stimulating holistic thoughts about the ways attitudes and actions in everyday behavior can influence the environmental macrosystem as a whole. The purpose of the work is to reveal and cause concern about the usual, externalizing poignant questions about the need of transformations imposed by diverse realities. Geoparks, built in specific territories and here dialectically rebuilt in the geographic space, reveal geological, archaeological, cultural, tourist, ecological and landscape potentials and show "new" dimensions whose influences can no longer be ignored or mitigated. In addition, it seeks to conjecture how such spaces can influence and be mutually and reflexively influenced by other possible ways of education in general, and Environmental Education specifically. In this sense, it was possible to concatenate certain theoretical bases and turn them into practical forms, as well as to recognize and legitimize local cultures, histories and daily practices as canons conductors for local practices in these territories. In addition, the methodologies employed were validated in the practical experiences of the environment, which in turn were aligned with the bibliographic review related to the respective theme. This study therefore points out that Environmental Education based on socio special geoparks (but not exclusively) seeks to strengthen cultures through Ecological Interaction, Environmental Belonging and Collective Emancipation
