Abstract:	O artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar a produção do conhecimento; teses e dissertações que pesquisaram a temática das ações afirmativas no Brasil. Para isso; iniciou-se a pesquisa escolhendo uma base de dados; a BDTD; que permitiu acessar as teses e dissertações produzidas nos Programas de Pós-Graduação no Brasil. Em seguida optou-se por utilizar o termo “ações afirmativas” para realizar a pesquisa bibliográfica dentro da base de dados. As informações obtidas foram sistematizadas em planilha do tipo “excel”. Como resultado; foram localizadas 373 produções do conhecimento sendo 173 na região Sudeste; 82 na região Sul; 68 na região Nordeste; 41 na região Centro-Oeste e 9 na região Norte
metadata.dc.description.abstractalternative:	The article aims to present the production of knowledge about theses and dissertations that researched the theme of affirmative actions in Brazil. To this end; the research began by choosing a database; the BDTD; that allowed access to theses and dissertations produced in the postgraduate studies in Brazil. Then; we chose to use the term “affirmative actions” to perform the bibliographic search within the database. The information obtained by the bibliographic search were systematized in a excel spreadsheet. As a result; 373 knowledge productions were located; 173 in the Southeast; 82 in the South; 68 in the Northeast; 41 in the Midwest and 9 in the North
