dc.description.abstractThe whole-genome sequence of Streptomyces sp. strain CBMAI 2042, an endophytic actinobacterium isolated from Citrus sinensis branches, is described. The strain has the ability to inhibit the growth of Xylella fastidiosa and other human pathogens.
