Title: Comparison between lumped models for high-voltage high-frequency transformers

Abstract: Transformer's modelling is extremely important for its correct design to attend the demands of each particular application. High-voltage transformers are heavy and bulky, because of the large magnetic cores and present large secondary capacitance, due to the elevate number of turns to support the high voltage levels. The high-frequency operation reduces the volume and weight of magnetic devices, but can increase the parasitic effects manifestation. This paper presents and compare two lumped models, to predict the steady-state behavior of high-voltage high-frequency transformers. The models are analyzed in terms of simplicity and adequation in predicting the real behavior
