dc.description.abstractCurrently, the project methodologies applied to Automotive Design indicate measurement limitations of car users’ emotional responses, specifically in terms of correlating such responses to product project parameters. The purpose of this article lies in the mapping and elucidation of the neurophysiological data measurement techniques adopted by Automotive Design research, developed between the years 2000 and 2017, in order to identify relevancies to project development in this field. The main outcomes achieved in each investigation are discussed, as well as the main obstacles to the advancement of studies of this nature. Moreover, it reflects on the importance of Automotive Design and Neuroscience cooperation in the analysis and evaluation of products, mostly in regards to understanding the perceptive, cognitive and behavioral processes of human beings in this context; the obtention of relevant subsidies for the project parameter definition aligned to requirements of the human organism, addressing his well-being and quality of lifept_BR
