Title: Physical Education Teachers' Training And Their Role: Relevant Reflections [formação E Intervenção Do Professor De Educação Física: Reflexões Pertinentes]
Abstract: Vocational training for teaching occupies a prominent position in academic, professional and political policies that refer to education debates. This descriptive and bibliographical study aims to reflect on the teaching professional activity and Brasil's legal systems in the area of Physical Education in the light of contemporary concepts. The need to break with models still existing in many schools, and to understand the work of Physical Education towards the contribution to emancipatory education of students, is accounted for. © 2015, Interciencia Association.
