Abstract: This review describes recent developments in liquid chromatography separation techniques that focus on biomolecules (DNA, peptides, enzymes and proteins). Different modalities and materials are discussed in terms of reserved phase, ion exchange, size exclusion, affinity, and hydrophilic and hydrophobic interaction chromatographic modes. On-line or off-line bi-di-mensional chromatographic separation modes as well as the latest developments are also discussed.
