|Abstract:||The objective of this paper is to indicate and to evaluate the benefits that has been obtained in an industry of auto-parts located in the Paraíba Valley, state of São Paulo, with the application of the participative administration in the production department, whith product quality. This management way was originate from the Toyota system, when Deming and Juran had participated of the industrial reorganization of Japan in the second half of century XX. Tool based on the intense participation of the employers, developed and applied in Toyota Motor Company, provokes a huge change of attitudes in the productive area, where the operators start to choose on solutions of problems of quality and productivity, being searched to reach the root cause of the defect, and to eliminate its incidence or then to place controls of same process or "triggers" that intervenes before the defect occurs. This new way to manage brought resulted fast and was spread in the world. In this paper quality pointers are analyzed, in PPM, of the analyzed company, where to leave of 2002 this tool gained force in the application, with measurable results up to 2005.|
