Title: Dynamic Models Of Industrial Hdt Reactor

Abstract: The hydrodesulfurization (HDS), hydrodenitrogenation (HDN), hydrodeoxygenation, hydrocraking and saturative hydrogenation of middle distillates were studied in this work. An adiabatic diesel hydrotreating packed trickle bed reactor was simulated numerically in order to check up the dynamic behaviour of this specific reaction system. The model consists of mass and heat balance equations, and variations in the physical properties as well as in the heat and mass transfer coefficients. The proposed model was able to predict the main characteristics of the dynamic behaviour of the reactor. Therefore, it is possible to use the model for a specific application, especially to design, control and optimization on-line.
