Title: An Advanced Non-li Near Control Appli Ed To Catalytic Reactor

Abstract: This work introduces an advanced non-linear control based on artificial neural networks (ANN), as dynamic model of the process in a predictive based algorithm and as controller. The main advantage is the on-line learning of networks that allow the controller to follow the changes in the process. The considered case study was a fixed bed catalytic reactor and the results showed the great potential of the proposed approach.
