Title: A Model Of Rotor-hydrodynamic Bearings Systems On Flexible Structures

Abstract: This work presents the methodology of analysis of the influence of the foundation, or support structures, on the rotor-bearings system, through a modal approach using modal parameters of generalized mass, damping ratio and natural frequency. The rotor is mathematically modeled by the Finite Elements Method. The modal parameters of the foundation are estimated through the frequency response functions and their Fourier Transforms, obtained experimentally. An analysis of the response in frequency of the complete system is done, when the methodology for the inclusion of the effect of the flexible foundation in the complete system is verified.
