Title: Excess Molar Volumes Of Binary Mixtures Of Acetonitrile And Chloroalkanes At 298.15 K And Atmospheric Pressure With Application Of The Eras-model

Abstract: Densities for binary mixtures of acetonitrile with dichloromethane, trichloromethane and tetrachloromethane have been measured at 298.15K and atmospheric pressure using a vibrating-tube densimeter. Excess molar volumes (Vm E) were determined. The systems exhibit negative Vm E values over the entire composition range at the temperature studied. The experimental Vm E results studied here have been used to test the extended real associated solution (ERAS)-Model. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
