Title: Stress Dependence Of Second Harmonic Amplitude Of Giant Magnetoimpedance In Cofesib Amorphous Samples

Abstract: The stress dependence of the first and second harmonic amplitude of the magnetoimpedance signal is analyzed in Co-rich soft magnetic amorphous wires and ribbons. The results are interpreted within a simple rotational model taking into account the different magnetoelastic contribution of the analyzed samples. The second harmonic voltage represents a promising detection method in the design of new magnetoelastic sensors. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
